We are working with a multidisciplinary civils business that is looking to strengthen its delivery team with a Project Manager position. This role is site-based on a large Water Project in Hampshire.
You will report directly to the Senior Project Manager, and your role will involve managing the design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover of contracts to ensure they are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote exceptional safety and quality standards among the workforce and subcontractors.
- Plan projects, including reviewing and approving the Project Execution Plan (PEP), and monitor and control project delivery.
- Ensure detailed construction plans and method statements are prepared, approved, and in place before activities commence.
- Verify that all records referenced in the PEP are complete and accessible at contract completion.
- Report site non-conformities and identify approximate costs for rectification.
- Manage all commercial aspects proactively, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
About The Candidate
You should have Project Management experience in managing multi-disciplinary design and construction projects, ideally within the water industry. Additional qualifications include:
- A degree or equivalent in construction, commercial, or engineering disciplines.
- Knowledge of Construction Contracts, preferably NEC and/or IChemE.
- Experience with water and wastewater treatment plants (desirable).
