Business Development and Marketing Executive role at an innovative and creative international law firm, serving their Tier 1 IP practice and life science sector group.

An ambitious and Tier 1-ranked law firm, leading in numerous practice sector groups, has a brilliant business development executive role on a maternity cover to join the team. The BD team is well-respected by everyone from the Managing Partner down.

This is a great opportunity to join this leading firm on a maternity cover and work in an ambitious organisation which will suit a highly creative individual with an enquiring mind and a commercial outlook. The BD Director is a fantastic leader and has gained the trust and engagement of Partners.

Key Duties Include:

  1. Collaborate with Partners and the wider BD team to identify BD opportunities for cross-selling and develop new business
  2. Manage opportunities to build thought leadership campaigns, including client communications
  3. Create visually appealing proposals, pitches, and capability statements
  4. Utilise various marketing tools for opportunity spotting to develop and track key relationships

The firm highly values their business services team and offers a comprehensive development plan aligned with their strategic goals. They have invested heavily in an inclusion, mentorship, and coaching network available to all employees.

This role is an excellent opportunity for a Legal MBD assistant level candidate or junior MBD executive who wants to develop their Marketing and BD skills within a Band 1 practice and sector. Many who have previously joined the firm on maternity cover have found opportunities for permanent roles.
