The Data Protection Manager takes day to day ownership of data protection compliance at ERM working closely with other key stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, HR, and IT. They develop data protection procedures, guidelines, and controls across the data lifecycle from data collection, processing, storage, transfer, and disposal. They also provide technical advice in partnership with Data Protection Officer service providers on matters relating to data protection compliance.
This role will act as the operational contact in the company, and be familiar with structures, processes, and internal issues. It will be the interface between the ERM and any external data protection suppliers.
