As our Sustainability Lead, you will be an important member of the Force for Good team. Your role and responsibilities will stretch across sustainability strategy development and implementation, data and reporting in particular carbon footprinting to the GHG Protocol, storytelling, collaborating on sustainable packaging design and development and working closely with our snazzy new all electric carbon neutral factory “the blender”. Additionally, you will manage the Sustainability team within Force for Good to ensure the business hits its wide-ranging sustainability goals. It’s a broad and challenging role which will help you develop your sustainability leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- to lead on our sustainability ambitions and ensure action to deliver them is integrated across the business.
- lead the creation and delivery of innocent’s sustainability strategy, annual plans & budget
- internal engagement & communicating the strategy, annual plans and progress to people at innocent
- lead the Sustainability SteerCo to coordinate action across the business to meet our sustainability ambitions
- work with relevant teams to ensure innocent is compliant to changing regulatory requirements within its markets for Sustainability topics
- data tracking and reporting ownership for Sustainability
you\’ll have
- the ability to display solid sustainability experience, ideally from a top tier FMCG company, but we are interested to hear from anyone that is working on climate action and packaging that can translate their skills to the challenges we face at innocent.
- a proven track record of managing a team on driving and achieving the sustainability agenda and influencing internal and external stakeholders.
- You will be a confident self-starter with the passion and enthusiasm to make a positive impact.
- natural curiosity and consumer focus, with a keen eye for emerging ESG trends.
- independent and resilient to work in a busy and complex environment and have the confidence and maturity to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- have a hands-on mentality and willing to work on all things big and small.
- excellent technical sustainability knowledge and experience
- experience reporting wide ranging data into a variety of complex requirements
