Purpose of the job:
To assist with the laminating of components and tooling across various industry sectors, sizes, and complexities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Final preparation of tooling block patterns and aluminium moulds
- Using hand tools, small air tools, and abrasive paper to a high standard
- Spraying patterns and final prep to a high standard
- Assembly of jigs and fixtures
- Preparation of low melting temperature moulds
- Checking route card instructions for accuracy
- Following company processes
- Maintaining all equipment
- Keeping the department clean and tidy
Skills:
- Previous experience in a pattern shop or similar environment
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions
- Awareness of health and safety
