Reporting to the Head of Consultancy, the SYSPRO Consultant will be responsible for delivering quality implementations and service days across various projects, ensuring a positive customer experience and generating reference-able clients.
This role covers all aspects of the project lifecycle, including business analysis, process mapping, system configuration, technical assistance, training, software specification, implementation documentation, and post-implementation support.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement SYSPRO ERP and associated software on client sites across the UK, providing tailored solutions within the project scope. Travel may be required, including to Ireland, Europe, and potentially worldwide.
- Import and manipulate data within SQL databases using scripting for reporting to support management decision-making.
- Deliver quality training sessions, customized or standard, on SYSPRO and NexSys software.
- Conduct thorough software testing, document issues, and escalate as needed.
- Create process documentation and user guides.
- Provide remote and telephone support from the Manchester office or home as required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Knowledge of SYSPRO and tier 2 ERP products
- Understanding of payroll applications and processes
- Knowledge of planning, scheduling, and warehouse software
- Business process expertise
- Project management skills
- Training delivery and product knowledge
- Customer issue resolution skills
- SQL Server scripting and data manipulation
- Report writing and VB/C# scripting
- Experience with Net tools, Visual Studio .NET, XML, Windows Servers
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical specifications
- Proficiency with process mapping tools
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and teams
