Experienced Loading Shovel Driver – IMMEDIATE START

Covering holiday and sickness – ad-hoc role

Monday to Friday – 07.00 – 5pm

£14.62 ph

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Loading Shovel & 360 Driver

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and reliable Loading Shovel Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating Loading Shovels to perform various tasks in a busy, fast paced recycling yard.

Duties

  • Operate Loading Shovel
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude for operating heavy machinery
  • Valid commercial driving license with experience
  • Proficiency in operating loading shovels and excavators
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment
  • Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction and excavation environments
  • Previous experience in a similar role or related field is preferred

You will be responsible for assisting the yard supervisor with the general running of the yard which will include:Enforcing Health and safety.Loading/unloading vehicles.Organising traffic.Keeping the production line running.Covering breaks
