Job Title: Principal Recruitment Consultant – Consumer/FMCG SectorLocation: LondonSalary: £45,000 – £70,000 (Dependent on experience) + Uncapped Commission
About the Role:An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious Principal Recruitment Consultant or Manager level Recruitment Professional to join a top-tier Executive Search recruitment agency in London.
Specialising in the Consumer sector, our client is a highly reputable recruitment search firm with a strong track record of delivering top talent to some of the biggest names in the industry, especially in the US.
You will be responsible for managing and growing a high-performing desk, sourcing and placing senior talent across the Consumer/FMCG sector, and leading a small team of consultants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is experienced in recruitment and looking to take the next step in their career within a highly competitive and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a high-performing desk focused on placing senior-level candidates within the Consumer/FMCG sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, offering strategic advice and solutions to meet their recruitment needs.
- Develop a robust candidate pipeline through networking, headhunting, and leveraging the firm’s existing resources.
- Lead and mentor a small team of recruitment consultants, offering guidance and support to ensure targets are achieved.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the market trends, competitor activities, and key industry developments.
- Develop and manage client accounts, securing long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Deliver excellent customer service and candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in recruitment, ideally with a strong background in the Consumer/FMCG sector.
- A track record of successfully placing candidates in senior or executive roles.
- Strong client relationship-building skills and client acquisition skills.
- Experience managing and growing a recruitment desk, with a keen focus on hitting KPIs and financial targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in leading and coaching a team of recruiters.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
