Role Overview
Business Development Operations Executive – supports the Business Development Operations Manager in delivering the management, standardisation, quality and strategic development of the BD and Marketing function globally across the firm’s UK offices.
Location
UK – Manchester and London offices (candidates must be able to travel to either office as required).
Responsibilities
- Maintain operations process support tools for BD, Marketing and Communications including excel trackers, SharePoint sites and process guides.
- Serve as the first point of contact for operations queries and manage selected databases and information sites.
- Create and maintain excel trackers, issue surveys, collect data and present results.
- Manage the legal directories cycle: maintain deadline calendars, templates and reference guides; issue briefings and kick‑off packs; respond to queries and communicate results.
- Participate in projects that support the operational development and improvement of the department.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and common intranet or website platforms such as SharePoint.
- Experience managing end‑to‑end processes autonomously.
- Experience with legal directory or awards submission processes preferred.
- Involved in preparing presentations and reports.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude and ability to add value to any task.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and prioritising multiple tasks and projects.
- Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the firm, including global BD, marketing, communications and partner groups.
