Sureserve Compliance South, delivers heating services within the social housing sector across London & the South East. We support our clients across domestic gas, commercial gas, renewables, and electrical services. We are London’s largest, most successful gas contractor, focusing on long-term contracts with our clients to offer our staff job security and progression opportunities.
Role
The purpose of the role is to carry out electrical installations for new heating systems including all controls. You will have knowledge of S/Y plan wiring to fault find existing installations as well as alter/install new wiring for S/Y plan systems. You will be able to produce reports and minor works certificates to meet the requirements of BS7671 while always maintaining a safe working environment.
- Install wiring to various heating systems in accordance with BS7671
- Produce Electrical minor works certificates in accordance with all relevant regulatory standards
- Be able to identify and rectify faults with existing wiring as well as being able to identify faulty components such as pumps/valves
- Always adhere to Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
- Keep abreast of changes and amendments of standards, regulations, and best practices within the electrical industry
The successful candidate will have
- City & Guilds NVQ level 3
- City & Guilds 2382 18th Edition
- Experience and knowledge of current UK heating systems and their wiring
- Full UK Driving Licence
