You will be part of a top-gun team and work with the brightest and best of British engineers.\\n\\nYou will like\\n\\nThe Princiapal Systems Engineer job itself where you will be a key member of the Systems Engineering Group, comprising of Systems Engineering, Software Engineering and Electronic Engineering. \\n\\nThe Principal Systems Engineer is responsible for mentoring, managing, and motivating teams of engineers to deliver against both active programmes and strategic business objectives in support of the company’s mission, core values and focus areas.\\n\\nThe Principal Systems Engineer promotes the Systems Engineering approach throughout the product lifecycle and uses it to actively handle multiple projects and the integration of numerous technologies across the business’s products and processes.
\\n\\nThe Principal Systems Engineer will have experience of full lifecycle systems engineering, including architecture design, requirements elicitation, definition, decomposition, and verification. The role inherently requires a strong aptitude for problem solving and an ability to understand complex inter dependencies, as well as managing potentially conflicting inputs from multiple stakeholder groups.\\n\\nThe Principal Systems Engineer will actively seek continuous improvement of the engineering process to improve product quality, safety, and business efficiency. The role works with department and Engineering leadership to enact changes and provide leadership in their use\\n\\nA detailed job description can be made available upon application.\\n\\nYou will have\\n\\nTo be successful as Systems Engineer you will have a good mix of the following:\\n\\nAppropriate Technical, Engineering or Science Degree at 2:1 or above\\n\\t\\nChatered Engineer status with recognised professional body\\n\\t\\nExperience with SysML and the use of MBSE tools\\n\\t\\nHigh proficiency in requirements elicitation, definition, decomposition, verification, and traceability maintenance\\n\\t\\nExperience of the core engineering technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR).
