Turning Passion into Purpose . London South Bank University is excited to be recruiting for the post of Head of LSBU Immigration Compliance and Reporting. This is a new position in a high-profile and recently enlarged team. It offers a superb opportunity for an experienced immigration compliance professional to own and lead on the delivery of operational compliance activity that supports our international student recruitment and partnership ambitions. LSBU has a strong track record in welcoming students from all over the world and in the Times Higher Impact Rankings, we are ranked third in the world for reducing inequality. We would love you to consider joining our team and help more international students access meaningful and impactful study in the United Kingdom through the Home Office’s UKVI student route.
The postholder will be a member of the Student Operations Leadership team and report to the Academic Registrar. The successful candidate will take ownership of visa compliance across the student journey from admission to graduation. You will work with experienced and supportive colleagues at all levels of the organisation and consequently you will be able to make a profound different to the experience of students studying at London South Bank University.
About You:
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
- Experience of managing immigration compliance with international applicants and students.
- An in-depth-understanding of UKVI regulation and guidance and how to implement this operationally.
- Be organised, proactive and be able to understand operational detail as well as the bigger picture.
- The ability to lead and motivate a team of visa compliance and advice professionals.
- To give trusted and authoritative advice to senior managers on all matters relation to student visa and immigration compliance.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated, be highly motivated and bring a thorough understanding of the visa and immigration compliance landscape to LSBU.
