Think Specialist Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading organisation based within the Watford area. My client have an exciting opportunity for a candidate at the beginning of their career, looking to join a great and successful team. No previous experience is required, however some administrative skills would be great, alongside basic IT skills.
\\n\\nThis opportunity will be working within a friendly team of 5. It is a fully office based position, the successful candidate must be within a commutable distance to Watford. \\n\\nSalary – £24,000-£25,000 plus fantastic benefits \\n\\nSome of the duties will include:\\n\\nEnsuring suppliers have processed purchase orders in a timely manner.\\nExpediting all orders to reduce lead times where possible and keeping delays to a minimum.\\nObtaining documentation through suppliers, 3rd party service providers, or self-found.\\nKeeping clients updated when required, especially on urgent or high value orders, and completing external reports received from clients.\\nInvestigating and resolving discrepancies reported by the customer, supplier, or internal warehouse.\\nRaising purchase orders in line with company processes, and initiating the supply chain by placing the orders with suppliers.\\nCo-ordinate customer collections with freight forwarders in line with customer expectations.\\nLiaise with, obtain quotes from, and book logistics services through 3rd party service providers to adhere to the requirements of orders.\\nLiaising with internal departments such as Accounts, Sales, and Warehouse to progress orders in a timely manner and resolve any issues they may face.\\nQuoting and arranging hazardous packing/crating with 3rd Party suppliers where necessary.\\nEscalating ongoing issues to senior management quickly to provide a solution as soon as possible.\\nDeveloping and improving relationships with both suppliers and customers.\\nKeeping on top of internal KPI reports for overall company performance monitoring \\n\\nThe suitable candidate:\\n\\nStrong attention to detail \\nCustomer service focused \\nAbility to manage one's own workload and organise own tasks\\nAdaptable to new scenarios and situations\\nExemplary English, written and verbal\\nTeam player\\nSelf-motivated, pro-active worker.\\nDesire to learn and develop personally\\nSocially confident\\nHappy to be office based \\n\\nLooking for the next step in your career?
