Job Description:
In the new OneIT structure, we are delivering significant projects to seamlessly integrate and consolidate the IT systems across VFG. To support these projects and the BAU support of the group, we are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Endpoint Technology Specialist to take ownership of the architectural design, deployment, management, and security of endpoint devices across Valeo Foods Group. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless, secure, and compliant user experience for all endpoints including Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of endpoint technologies and standards, including imaging and deployment, configuration management, patching, application packaging/distribution, and endpoint compliance and security. As Valeo Foods moves to unify and standardise IT across a merged estate, this role will play a key part in simplifying endpoint management processes and ensuring global consistency.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for endpoint management platforms including Intune, Autopilot, SCCM, Group Policy, and related tools, including EntraID.
- Lead the design and administration of endpoint deployment processes for Windows, macOS, and mobile devices, ensuring standardisation and efficiency.
- Maintain endpoint security and compliance, including patch management, encryption, conditional access, antivirus/EDR, and configuration baselines.
- Manage and optimise application packaging and deployment processes, ensuring secure and reliable delivery of required software to end-user devices.
- Drive harmonisation and standardisation of endpoint build processes, policies, and device management across the Valeo Foods estate.
- Partner with IT Security to align endpoint configurations with security policies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and escalation point for endpoint-related incidents, problems, and root cause analysis.
- Document endpoint architecture, build guides, standards, and support procedures.
- Collaborate with the M365 Specialists to ensure endpoint and M365 services are integrated and aligned for seamless user experience and security.
- Stay current with industry trends, Microsoft roadmap, and emerging endpoint technologies to continuously improve the IT Workplace environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing enterprise endpoint environments (Windows, macOS, iOS/Android) in a technical leadership or engineering capacity.
- Deep expertise in endpoint management platforms (Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, SCCM), OS deployment, application packaging, and patch management.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint security and compliance frameworks (encryption, MFA, antivirus/EDR, conditional access, security baselines).
- Experience with Active Directory Group Policy and hybrid identity environments.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD / EntraID fundamentals, particularly device management and compliance integration.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, able to resolve complex endpoint issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
- Microsoft certifications in endpoint management and/or M365.
- PowerShell scripting experience for automation and configuration tasks.
- Experience supporting endpoint environments & harmonisation in multi-business or M&A settings.
