DWF are looking for a 3E Business Analyst to join the Change Management Team. If successful you will work in close alignment to Change Leadership, Finance Leadership, Project Managers and supporting Analysts who will be upgrading our primary Practice Management System \’Elite 3E\’.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that DWF\’s Digital Transformation succeeds by designing future finance processes align with our strategic goals the platform. We will need you to evaluate business processes, define requirements, and facilitate the implementation of effective solutions within our Practice Management System Elite 3E.
We offer flexible working although you will be required to commute to Manchester on occasion.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of their needs and expectations
- Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies or areas for improvement, using techniques such as process mapping and workflow analysis
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, managing expectations and ensuring that all parties are informed of progress and changes
- Challenge legacy ways of using of our \’Elite 3E\’ system
- Develop test plans and conduct testing to ensure that implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and function as intended
- Produce comprehensive documentation, including requirement specifications, process maps, and user manuals, to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of solutions
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Previous experience working on Change within 3E Practice Management System, ideally with a focus on the finance modules including outgoing VAT & Invoicing processes is essential
- Previous experience working in a large law firm
- Proficient in techniques such as SWOT analysis, MoSCoW analysis, and root cause analysis, with the Ability to create process maps and flowcharts.
- Skilled in gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements using methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Competence in analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
- Understanding of legal regulations and accounting principles.
Desirable
- Experience working with Accounting modules of 3E, including 3E Proforma (3EP), eBilling Hub (EBH)
- Experience working in a Finance Systems team
