We are looking for passionate individuals to join the National Counter Trafficking Centre, specifically in the London area. If you have experience in Immigration, Social Care, or Criminal Justice, and are committed to improving the lives of young people affected by modern slavery, we want to hear from you!

This is a full-time, home-based role (37 hours per week) with potential for extensive travel across delivery sites. You must be able to find a confidential space to carry out your work. A current driving licence and access to a car, or the ability to travel extensively via public transport, are required.

Role: Independent Child Trafficking Guardian

The role involves supporting children who have experienced trafficking and exploitation, working alongside professionals to ensure they receive appropriate support.

  • Support professionals such as Social Workers, Police, Youth Justice Teams, Foster Carers, and Residential Support Workers to identify children exploited through modern slavery and refer them into the service.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and information about child trafficking and safety planning through 1:1 case consultations or multi-agency meetings.
  • Develop initial needs assessments and action plans.
  • Assist partner agencies in meeting the needs of trafficked children.
  • Manage a caseload of young people, adhering to service KPIs and Home Office guidance.
  • Support children through face-to-face contact and online platforms, using creative approaches to deliver high-quality support.
  • Identify safeguarding concerns, alert managers, and work with partner agencies to ensure a robust safeguarding response.

This position is funded until 31 March 2026. If funding is not extended, you may be subject to redundancy or TUPE arrangements.
