Our client, a large well-known energy company, is currently hiring for a Senior Project Manager to lead the project team in developing and delivering transmission projects. The role involves providing leadership, coordination, and managing interfaces between multiple technical disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain productive relationships with contractors, consultants, stakeholders, and communities to support sustainable project delivery.
- Collaborate with engineers and managers to identify and mitigate engineering design risks during the pre-construction phase.
- Prepare and coordinate design assurance reviews and deliver key project governance documentation.
- Drive design maturity and ensure the delivery of scope to quality and schedule, with all contractor deliverables signed off.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of transmission design lead experience, preferably in civil or line engineering.
- Degree in an engineering discipline.
- Experience with transmission infrastructure projects.
- Experience in substation construction, line, or cable projects.
This is a hybrid contract requiring presence in one of the Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, or Inverness offices 2-3 days per week.
