An operations role that is a PAYE contract position based in Aberdeen, with travel to England. Candidates must have full rights to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the refresh of Permit to Work and Safe Isolation and Reinstatement of Plant processes, ensuring standardization across assets and collaboration with asset personnel.
  2. Oversee updates and enhancements to the electronic permit to work system, including procedural changes and management of change (MoC).
  3. Implement and manage MoC for electronic handover and control of temporary equipment tools.

Operations Skill Pool Development

  • Collaborate with the Training and Competence Team to improve the effectiveness of the T&C process for operated assets, focusing on measuring T&C status across shifts.
  • Maintain an active cross-asset Operations Integrity Forum.

Production Operations

  • Support complex production operations issues and threats across assets.
  • Ensure operational management, readiness, and assurance.
  • Understand major hazard legislation and its operational implications.
  • Apply Process Safety Management principles within an operating integrity framework.
  • Demonstrate leadership, setting high standards, driving performance, and fostering organizational change.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to share knowledge, influence, and persuade effectively.

Leads organizational change, makes collaborative decisions, takes informed risks, and learns from failures.
