I am currently hiring a Head of Learning & Development / Talent Development for one of my clients for a period of 12 months on a fixed term contract.
Based Northamptonshire or West Midlands with some travel.
Our client is on a mission to create a Learning Academy that will shape the future of their workforce. They are looking for an individual who can design, launch, and embed a learning culture that supports long-term business growth.
The requirement:
β To build a 5-year workforce plan aligned with the business strategy
β Prioritise and develop learning pathways for key skills (e.g., Engineering, Sales, Site Management)
β Define roles, skills, and experiences β and match them with the right learning methods
β Partner with external providers to deliver high-impact training
β Create a certification framework and map career paths
β Design a branded learning experience accessible to all employees
What my client is looking for:
β Proven success in launching a Learning Academy in a technical/industrial setting
β Experience engaging offline/frontline teams in learning
β Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
β Excellent stakeholder management skills with high EQ and the ability to influence across diverse teams, able to flex your communication style
β ideally suited to someone with experince in a multi site business within manufacturing, logistics or similar
This is a superb opportunity to make a lasting impact by building from the ground up. You will work with the wider HR team and Business as well as the HR Director.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract but comes with the possibility of a longer term/permanent opportunity.
Mainly onsite with some flex to work from home.
Salary up to Β£85,000 per annum
