This full time, permanent opening sits within our Global Finance Team. The successful candidate will work closely with our global Marketing and Engineering functions to provide financial support – focusing on performance reporting, financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and project financial assessment within the Servomex Group.

About the Opportunity:
- Working closely with the Strategy & Marketing Director and Technical Director and their global teams to support the financial planning process and drive optimal financial performance and cost control of these functions.
- Deliver financial insights and analysis to aid strategic decision-making for the Marketing and Engineering departments.
- Responsible for reporting requirements of actuals, forecast, budget and investigation to the Marketing and Technical Directors, their leadership teams and cost centre owners.
- Prepare and present detailed financial performance reports to internal stakeholders.
- Conduct financial assessments of marketing and pricing strategies and R&D projects, including cost-benefit analysis and financial modelling. Support the formulation and execution of financial strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and KPIs.
- Identify and manage financial risks effectively.
- Critically evaluate, manage, and report on R&D project performance and status, including product vitality.
- Perform general finance business partnering tasks related to IT/ Information Systems.
- Collaborate with the Financial Controlling team to implement process improvements.
- Other ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by Global Head of FP&A and Senior Finance Leadership team.
About Your Talent:
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record of performing in a Finance Business Partner role or similar (experience within a manufacturing environment is preferable).
- Experience working in a global multi-site organisation.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
- Business case development and financial modelling.
- Experience with forecasting and financial planning.
- History of providing in-depth variance analysis.
- Ability to tailor visual analysis to the appropriate audience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to challenge decisions and provide commercial insight.
- Ability to identify the value in information provided.
- Adaptability and perseverance to build and maintain influence.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to executive decision makers.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience in working with SAP Analytics, Power BI, and SAP systems.
- Awareness and understanding of Lean and continuous improvement concepts.
Essential Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, CIMA, ACCA – or equivalent.

This opportunity has flexibility for hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week onsite at our facility in Crowborough, East Sussex
