About the role
We\’re looking for someone special to join our double award-winning User Research & Experimentation team at John Lewis. At John Lewis, we generate valuable insights through large-scale experiments and user research. We aim to leverage these insights to enhance business decisions.
In this role, you\’ll work with insights from our User Researchers and the outputs of experiments, integrating these with other sources like Behavioral Analytics and Desk research to inform decisions within our Digital and Ecommerce team.
You should have hands-on experience with both experimentation and user research outputs, confident in analyzing data in spreadsheets and interpreting qualitative insights from user sessions. Strong communication skills are essential to convey findings effectively and support better decision-making.
Target salary: up to 60k
Working pattern/flexible working: The Partnership adopts a hybrid approach, allowing a mix of office and home working, typically 1-2 days in the office weekly.

Essential skills/experience:
- Strong understanding of data analysis, including statistics, with proficiency in spreadsheets.
- Experience with large-scale A/B testing and its application in decision-making.
- Knowledge of user research methods to improve digital products and services.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present findings persuasively.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
Desirable skills/experience:
- Experience working in agile environments on digital projects.
