Pricing and Underwriting is a complicated world, where historical data, geospatial information, and mathematical models meet talented analysts. What you\’ll be doing:

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Motor team on a permanent basis, as a Change Delivery Specialist. The role is to support the development of the pricing strategy for Personal Lines through implementation of changes to our rating software, in order to ensure commercial benefit and other business objectives.

You\’ll be part of a team providing an innovative and effective change delivery service for our Motor business. This will include:

  • Design, build, test and implementation of approved changes accurately and efficiently to Radar rating software

  • Engaging with key stakeholders within business and technology teams to ensure that requirements and timeframes are met, alongside all governance/regulatory outcomes.

  • Support to ensure best practice and up-to-date documentation of our rating algorithm and testing processes are maintained.

  • Suggesting recommendations to improve the efficiency of the change team and longer-term pricing delivery capability

  • Identifying any risks involved in running our business appropriately for the role. Communicating to peers and team managers in a timely manner where you have discovered price, model or data issues, supporting efficient resolution.

Our hybrid model offers a \’best of both worlds\’ approach. When you\’ll be in the office depends on your role and team, but colleagues spend at least 2 days a week in the office

What you\’ll need:

We’re looking for someone who can bring their technical expertise and strategic mindset to help us achieve the best outcomes. You’ll be able to think tactically, strategically, and creatively to solve problems and drive improvements. You will be an effective communicator and good teammate, but also able to use your initiative and progress work independently. Key technical skills include:

  • Knowledge of the WTW Radar software and how to build, develop and test algorithms desirable, alongside general software development experience.

  • Knowledge and experience of programming languages and software such as SQL, Python, Excel VBA.

  • Knowledge of general insurance market and pricing also a bonus.
