With over 100 years of expertise behind us, the SAUTER Group is a global leader in Building Management Systems (BMS), trusted by clients across the world to create smarter, more sustainable buildings.
Our Service Operation plays a crucial role in keeping those systems running efficiently — through planned maintenance, reactive support, and continuous improvements. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Service Engineer to join our London/Southern-based team.
Whether you\’re already experienced in BMS or just getting started with a strong electrical background, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits across client sites, ensuring systems are running optimally.
- Responding to reactive callouts — identifying and resolving BMS issues quickly and professionally.
- Providing clear and accurate documentation after each visit, including works completed, recommendations, and next steps.
- Working closely with the Service Operations Manager and Planning Team to ensure efficient delivery of services.
- Building strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted go-to for anything BMS-related.
- Using PC-based tools for reporting and SAUTER software applications.
- Occasionally working outside regular hours to support client needs — flexibility and reliability are key.
What we’re looking for:
- Essential: Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Ideally some experience working with BMS or HVAC controls — but we’re happy to provide training for the right person.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Confident communicator with a professional, client-focused attitude.
- Someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technology, and working as part of a team.
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage your time effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable to support the needs of different sites and clients.
Our Benefits
This role offers an attractive salary and benefits package which can be discussed during the recruitment process.
In return, you’ll be joining a highly engaged and passionate team that rewards commitment and achievement. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, then we would love to hear from you. Apply today!
