Our Consulting team in Great Britain & Ireland provide expert support to customers in addressing operational and strategic challenges where imaging is core to patient care. In Consulting, we are in a unique position to harness the full potential of what Siemens Healthineers has to offer our customers in a way that goes beyond traditional healthcare consulting; making this an exciting and growing part of our global medical technology business.
We are looking for an experienced Consulting Manager to join our growing consulting function in Great Britain and Ireland. Reporting to the Head of Consulting, the Consulting Manager leads a portfolio of delivery and business development projects; setting the direction, architecting the approach and leading the rest of the team to deliver great outcomes, on time and on budget.
Whilst our work with customers is delivered in the UK and Ireland, we are also part of a global consulting business, providing opportunities for international connections, networking and career development.
The successful postholder will thrive in an environment where they can take full accountability for their portfolio and are given the bandwidth to create new ways for us to add value to our customers as part of Siemens Healthineers. They will enjoy ‘rolling their sleeves up’ to not only design solutions but also to implement them with both NHS and private hospitals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architect and lead a portfolio of consulting projects successfully from start to finish with a team of senior consultants, healthcare consultants and business analysts
- Lead specific sales and business development projects to support growth of our Siemens Healthineers value partnerships and sales of \’standalone\’ consulting engagements with NHS and private customers
- Support the Head of Consulting with development of our consulting offers, marketing collateral and thought leadership
- Manage and develop a small team including our expert business analyst function
Your Skills & Experience:
- Must have a strong track record (over a number of years) of managing consulting delivery teams within a commercial healthcare consulting business
- Able to demonstrate practical understanding of commercial consulting models including how to win and deliver consulting successfully
- Highly effective in leading healthcare consulting teams across a portfolio of projects and initiatives
- Delivers consistently great outcomes for healthcare customers, on time and on budget
- Experienced in consulting within hospital settings including with imaging services
- Exceptional in building our reputation with customers and our internal colleagues
- Able to develop our team and lead by example
- Excited by the prospect of a new angle on their healthcare consulting career within our global medical technology company
