Job Description:

Dimensional’s Investment Operations team coordinates and provides oversight of Dimensional’s service provider relationships, including global transfer agents, accounting and administrative agents, custodians, and a complex network of service groups that provide middle office services to the firm’s primary and regional offices. The Senior Associate will assist in the daily oversight of outsourced fund operations functions and support middle office with these external vendors. They will provide the main point of contact for Capital Markets inquiries relating to our Irish ETF fund Range.

Responsibilities

ETF Specific Tasks

• Inquiries/Escalations – provide the first point of contact for reporting and operational issues raised by internal or external stakeholders. E.g. PCF processing, NAV queries, settlement issue follow up.
• Providing premarket coverage for queries from 7am and Liaising with US ETF Ops team providing overnight coverage.
• Monitor and resolve daily workflow matters in consultation with Portfolio Management, Capital Markets, IAD and Technology teams.
• KPI’s – Review and monitoring of the ETF specific KPIs.
• Order Portal Enhancements – Manage any change Requests with service provider.
• Monthly ETF Recon – Reconcile internal database Creation / Redemption order activity.

General Tasks

• Support new fund products and trading instruments including ETFs, Mutual Funds and SMAs.
• Monitor adherence to contractual policies, procedures & controls
• Process daily client transaction flow from Transfer Agent and track new product activity.
• Upload data to in-house client databases; analyze and assist in the resolution of operational issues.
• Evaluate client trade exceptions and complex shareholder issues and track reoccurring trends for management review.
• Complete daily back or mid office deliverables and track in JIRA.
• Escalate issues from internal & external stakeholders to assist in resolution with the service provider.
• Assist with preparation of audit requests received from Dimensional client and external auditors.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the service provider’s processes and platforms of back and middle office.
• Oversee cash reporting and projections to portfolio managers
• Assist with the Net Asset Value review process and upload to internal database.
• Support projects and initiatives for Investment Operations and other groups on an ad hoc basis.
• Participate in the oversight of daily operations among service providers, transfer agents, custodians, fund accountants and internal departments.
• Service client queries and provide quality service and an excellent customer experience to clients, platforms, banks, trusts, and other service providers; coordinate associated internal and external information flow.
• Help manage the Inv Operations query inbox.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\’s degree, or equivalent, ideally in a finance or business related field.
• Experience working in Operations supporting ETF funds.
• Experience working in Financial Services, preferably in Fund/Investment Operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, both locally and across international offices.
• Strong analytical mindset with an ability to synthesize data.
• Detail-oriented and capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently to meet project requirements with minimal supervision.
• Eager to learn and responsive to constructive feedback and guidance.
• Focuses on results and works diligently to accomplish them through evolving circumstances.
• Develops unique business insights, generates forward- looking opportunities, and effectively problem solves.

• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Working knowledge of Power BI and Power Automate is preferred.
