Michelle Denny Recruitment Consultancy is delighted to be partnering with a leading specialist claims organisation in their search for an experienced Senior PI Claims Handler with a strong background in complex Personal Injury claims. This is a standout fully remote opportunity for professionals with proven experience handling high-value motor personal injury cases, particularly those exceeding £100,000 in value. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000, depending on experience. The RoleAs a Senior PI Claims Handler, you’ll manage a portfolio of technically challenging and high-value motor personal injury claims from first notification through to final resolution. You’ll take ownership of cases requiring deep investigation, assessment of liability and quantum (including future losses), and negotiation with a high level of autonomy and technical expertise. Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of complex personal injury motor claims, typically valued at £100,000+
- Conduct thorough liability investigations and assess quantum, including interpreting medical reports and calculating future losses.
- Negotiate and settle claims with solicitors, insurers, and third parties.
- Identify and manage indicators of fraud or exaggeration.
- Liaise with legal and medical professionals to reach fair, evidence-based outcomes.
- Keep accurate records, maintain appropriate reserves, and follow regulatory and internal procedures.
- Stay current with personal injury case law, legislation, and best practice guidelines.
