Description/Job Summary
You will be assisting the Risk, Compliance & AML team in providing administrative practice support on all aspects of risk, regulatory compliance and AML.
Required Skills
- Working closely with the Risk, Compliance & AML team in general daily tasks and project work as required, including ad hoc assistance with client due diligence and client/matter risk assessments
- Coordinating the workflow of contractual terms through the procurement and Office of General Counsel processes
- Assisting with research and other research-related ad hoc tasks
- Assisting with drafting and updating internal guidelines, practice notes and policy documents
- Versioning control for terms and conditions, policies and other documentation
- Assisting with the preparation of training materials, including Power Point presentations, training scripts and Vyond and Storyline videos
- Assisting with terms of engagement and engagement letters
- Assisting with internal audit and preparing for any external audit
- Assisting with enquiries about remote working and checking regulatory jurisdictional requirements
- Conducting introductory training of new joiners
- Assisting the team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required, including but not limited to taking notes during meetings and training sessions, expenses and invoice processing, coordinating the team’s calendar and the calendar of the Director of Risk and Compliance
- Ensuring tools are ready for training sessions by organizing IT and Handouts, room bookings and scheduling
- Updating content of the intranet page of the Office of General Counsel
- Maintaining attendance registers, records of Firm-wide Risk, Compliance and AML training as well as Practising Certificates records and related administrative support
- Assisting with compliance reporting
- Assisting with the Insider Lists maintenance
- Monitoring Risk and Compliance inboxes
- Document filing (electronically) and managing the team’s iManage along with other workspaces
Preferred Skills
- Law degree or equivalent preferred;
- Strong analytical and research skills;
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal;
- Team player;
- Must have sound judgment;
- A high level of attention to detail;
- Able to work in a fast paced environment;
- Good planning, time management and prioritisation skills;
- Prior experience in client due diligence preferred, but not essential; and
- Must have good knowledge of Microsoft office applications especially strong Excel skills.
