About The Opportunity
We are looking for a Pre-construction Project Manager to join our growing team in London. Youâll be joining Soben at an exciting time, playing a key role in helping us achieve our ambitious growth targets. Supporting one of our key Construction clients in the region, you will be responsible for developing and implementing key procurement and commercial strategies across a range of projects in our business.

In this role you will
- Take charge of Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), ensuring contractor engagement at the earliest stage to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
- Drive the PCSA (Pre-Construction Services Agreement) engagement, ensuring contractors provide input on design, constructability, and value engineering.
- Review the project schedule to ensure that all milestones and timelines are realistic.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews with the project team, identifying any potential delays or issues early.
- Lead the tender evaluation process, ensuring that all responses are assessed thoroughly, and the best value is achieved.
- Ensure transparency and objectivity in tender assessments, managing negotiations to achieve the most beneficial outcomes.
About You
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
- Able to prepare and deliver role-related training to improve project management skills internally.
- Must possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, together with a common sense and flexible approach.
- PMP/PMI certification is a bonus
- Civils background preferable
