We are looking for a Collections Analyst who will focus on working alongside our team in reaching out to customers across regions to collect on overdue balances, reconcile balances, assist in handling Collections analyst escalations and work cross-functionally to ensure disputes are raised and resolved in a timely manner in order to drive increased results.
Your contribution will be essential to ensure continuity in our Revenue Operations and Collections processes and support our collections function in the timely receipt of payments, and drive further optimization in our Financial Operations globally. The Finance Team:
The position will report to the Senior Manager of Collections for the API Business unit, based in our head office in New Jersey, US and will help support escalations from the Collections analysts in all regions.
We are a hard working team and take pride in challenging the status quo, leading business development and striving to make positive change. We are collaborative both within Finance as well as across the entire Vonage business.

Your key responsibilities:

Support cash collections for delinquent customers by reaching out to customers directly to resolve unpaid balances.

Assist in Collections analyst escalations by providing guidance and support.

Liaise with Sales, Carrier and Customer Support team and assist with internal as well as external Finance related queries

Perform periodic and ad hoc reconciliation of customer accounts to resolve variances and payment delays

Partner with our tax team to support and coordinate local tax and withholding tax requirements.

Ensure Finance related processes are adhered to for SOX compliance and efficient business operations

Assisting with process improvement projects that will enhance further collections.
What you\’ll bring:

Fluency in English and Mandarin (a plus)

Great problem solving skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task and communicate effectively

Minimum 5 years relevant experience

Commercially minded and comfortable working with minimal supervision

Experience in Finance and Collections for a US company

Experience in multi-currency billing and the full OTC cycle

Advanced user of Microsoft Excel & Google sheets for ad-hoc reporting

Sense of humor and a can do attitude
And Ideally

Experience of communications product, or similar complex high volume transactions businesses

Experience of using Zuora and/or Oracle Fusion Advanced Collections
