Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.\\n\\nOur client a large metal stockholders based in Gateshead are now looking for an Administrator with experience in Sales Support to join their team.\\n\\nRole Overview\\n\\nAs an Admin/Sales Support, you will be responsible for providing administrative and sales support to the sales team and customers. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day office activities whilst providing support to the Sales & Operations teams. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Company, and will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and dynamic team of professionals.\\n\\nCore Competencies\\n\\nCustomer Service – Good customer service and problem-solving skills.\\n\\nSales & Selling – Experience in a sales support or customer service role.

Experience working with sales databases and/or CRM systems.\\n\\nOrganisation & Time Management – Ability to multi-task and organise accordingly in a timely manner with a strong attention to detail.\\n\\nCommunication & Collaboration – Communicate effectively and liaise with a variety of internal personnel and external customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team so that all deadlines are met.\\n\\nIT, Literacy & Numeracy – Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excellent written, verbal & numeracy skills.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities\\n\\n * Adhere to policies.\\n\\n * Work within a variety of agreed systems and liaise with appropriate personnel.\\n\\n * Maintaining filing and archiving systems and general administration housekeeping.\\n\\n * Administer direct delivery to customers.\\n\\n * Generate and be accountable for all invoices and proof of deliveries.\\n\\n * Manage suppliers’ deliveries effectively.\\n\\n * Accurately use sales and purchase ledgers.\\n\\n * Understand and operate stock control and accounting systems.\\n\\n * Respond to customer enquiries regarding product availability, pricing, and delivery dates.\\n\\n * Prepare quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.\\n\\n * Navigate internal and external databases to find product and pricing information for customers.\\n\\n * Collaborate with sales team to identify new sales opportunities and provide product information to customers.\\n\\nHours of work: 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4.30pm Friday\\n\\nSalary Β£26-28k Dep. on Exp.\\n\\nBenefits include 25 Days holidays + Bank Holidays and Uncapped profit share
