Job Description
What is the opportunity?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Wealth Paraplanner to join the team in London on a permanent basis.
As a Paraplanner, you will have a broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and build knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios. You will analyse our clients\’ aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
What will you do?

  • Provides appropriate support for Financial Advisers/Financial Planners.
  • Facilitates the smooth processing of new and existing business.
  • Liaises with any administration support.
  • Assists with monitoring the performance and work throughput of any administration support thereby ensuring standards are maintained and deadlines are met.
  • Understands and complies with regulations and principles applying to the role and RBCBD policies and procedures.
  • Adheres to Conduct Risk standards.
  • Broad understanding of core Financial Planning solutions and building knowledge through exposure to client planning scenarios.
  • Analyses client’s aims and needs to construct solutions as a tool for advisors to communicate to clients.
  • Production of robust financial plans and analytical information in support of Financial Planners and Financial Advisers under supervision of more senior team members.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

  • CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
  • Accuracy, numeracy, attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written.
  • Ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of RBC Brewin Dolphin values.
