Job Summary

A Central London Office Developer is seeking a Commercial Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. You will manage a portfolio of Trophy assets with the aim of providing high quality, effective, and efficient services to their occupiers. The role involves overseeing operations, ensuring occupier satisfaction, and maintaining security standards. Collaboration with internal technical and facilities management teams, as well as external advisors and departments such as Asset Management, Finance, Development, Leasing, and Investment, is essential.

Additionally, you will work with the Development team to ensure new developments and refurbishments benefit from early property management input. You will also manage contracts, project works, and tenant fit-outs with external consultants as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tenant liaison, property inspections, managing site managers, and resolving daily issues in collaboration with operational support teams.
  • Review existing leases, ensure compliance, and maintain accurate databases.
  • Review and amend lease clauses for new lettings.
  • Manage service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with finance to ensure timely rent and service charge collections, following up with occupiers as necessary.
  • Review and process tenant applications, including licences to alter, wayleaves, and alienations.
  • Oversee insurance responsibilities, including claims, works notifications, and premium charges.

About You:

  • At least 3-5 years of commercial property management experience, preferably in the office sector.
  • MRICS qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience with compiling and reconciling service charge budgets.
  • High attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.

This role offers the opportunity to expand your knowledge and take responsibility for all aspects of Portfolio Management, including projects from design onwards. It is a broad, autonomous role requiring collaboration across the business.
