As a Client Development Director, You Will

  • Develop and implement a client-focused growth strategy for Key Growth Accounts, translating revenue goals into actionable plans.
  • Map stakeholders within Key Growth Accounts, leading business development efforts to identify opportunities, build relationships, and deliver customized solutions.
  • Create strong sales pipelines and business plans to drive account expansion and renewals, ensuring the commercial viability of contracts.
  • Advocate for client needs in strategic planning, representing their interests across The Collective and DM teams.
  • Oversee contract management, negotiation, and procurement processes with Key Growth Accounts, collaborating with senior leadership.
  • Collaborate on high-impact RFIs, RFPs, and pitches, providing strategic direction and leadership to secure business.

You\’re Good At

  • Leading large-scale events (1,000+ attendees) in live, hybrid, and virtual formats.
  • Overseeing complex budgets and ensuring financial adherence.
  • Building and maintaining strong client partnerships.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior team members to excellence.
  • Representing the business at industry events with confidence and expertise.

You Should Know

  • This is a hybrid role that requires 1-2 days a week in either the Derby, Fleet or Milton Keynes office
  • Our standard working hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm with an hour break
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • You must have the ability and want to travel in the UK and Overseas
