We are looking for an experienced consultant with deep expertise in navigating customers through complex software implementation. Veeva’s Vault RIM suite is the industry’s only unified software solution that provides fully integrated regulatory information management (RIM) capabilities, including data and document management, submission publishing, and archival on a single cloud-based platform.

Veeva Systems is seeking consulting leaders with system implementation experience and a passion for helping customers optimize their regulatory data and document management processes.

As a key member of our Professional Services team, the Senior Consultant will be responsible for understanding our customers’ global regulatory needs, translating requirements into solution design, and defining global strategies for deploying our cloud-based solution for managing regulatory information across the enterprise.

This is a remote position within the EU/UK, with no specific work location requirement, provided the candidate is near an airport and able to meet travel requirements. Qualified EU/UK-based candidates are encouraged to apply.

What You\’ll Do

• Lead software implementation projects at life sciences companies, from large pharmaceutical firms to emerging biotechs.
• Design solutions for the Vault Regulatory suite (Veeva Registrations, Veeva Submissions, Veeva Submissions Archive, Veeva Publishing).
• Conduct requirements workshops, design, prototype, configure, and document content solutions.
• Manage programs and projects, including resource planning and leading cross-functional teams.
• Serve as the primary customer liaison, managing communication among project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor project team members and consultants to enhance their consulting skills.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in system implementation within life sciences or healthcare, as a consultant or business/IT representative.
• Deep knowledge of drug development processes and regulatory submissions, including Labeling, Submission Publishing, and Viewing systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Influential leadership skills, capable of guiding teams through complex decisions.
• Technical proficiency and willingness to design and implement RIM solutions.
• Expertise in life sciences compliance and computer systems validation.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Nice to Have

• Experience with systems like Veeva Vault, PAREXEL/LIQUENT InSight, CSC Regulatory Tracker, and others.
• Consulting experience with major system integrators or software vendors.
• Background in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Operations, or Pharmacovigilance.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device regulatory processes.
• PMP certification.
• Experience with Agile methodologies or ACP Certification.
• Degree in life sciences, computer science, or related fields.
• Fluency in languages such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
