We are seeking an experienced and effective administrator to support the Project Manager, Smart Internet Manager, and Principal Investigator (PI) for the government research project – REASON.

REASON is led by the University of Bristol and focuses on developing a roadmap for open 6G network architectures, emphasizing Native AI and UK Born technologies. This framework aims to guide new developments across the entire technology stack.

The project involves key stakeholders such as universities, large vendors, Mobile Network Operators (MNOs), and SMEs.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support the project team with various organizational and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide general administrative support – assist with project reporting, manage mailing lists, MyERP timesheets, reconcile credit card purchases, book travel and hotels, and support recruitment and ad hoc tasks.
  2. Support management team meetings – manage diaries, set up meetings, take minutes, and update actions.
  3. Assist with financial tasks – support purchasing and budget management.
  4. Provide operational support – manage project space and assist with onboarding new team members.
  5. Lead management of shared inbox and maintain project websites, SharePoint sites, social media accounts, and e-newsletters . Handle inquiries and communications with partners and subcontractors.
  6. Design and prepare documents and publicity materials .
  7. Support planning and execution of project events .
