You’ll partner closely with senior leaders and managers to drive people strategies that align with our business goals. You’ll bring insight, empathy, and expertise to every conversation—whether you’re coaching a leader, navigating change, or designing initiatives that foster engagement and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insight and challenge to support strategic decision-making. Build strong, collaborative relationships across the function to understand business needs and deliver impactful people solutions.
  • HR Expertise: Provide proactive, practical HR advice on a wide range of topics including performance, development, and employee relations. Ensure consistency and compliance with employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Change & Transformation: Lead and support change initiatives that enhance agility, resilience, and high performance. Act as a change agent, helping teams navigate transformation with clarity and confidence.
  • Leadership Development: Coach and support leaders to grow their capability and confidence. Design and deliver tailored development initiatives that empower managers to lead with purpose and authenticity.
  • Talent & Succession Planning: Partner with leaders to identify and develop future talent. Drive structured succession planning and capability-building strategies.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use people data and analytics to identify trends, predict challenges, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Champion inclusive practices and foster a culture where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Design and implement initiatives that enhance engagement, wellbeing, and the overall employee experience.
  • Collaboration with Group & CoEs: Align with Spirax Group and Watson-Marlow Centres of Excellence to ensure consistency and leverage shared expertise.

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience as a HR Business Partner
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for people and performance
  • Experience supporting change and transformation in a complex environment
  • CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) or equivalent experience
