Job Description

Employee Relations Consultant – EMEA

Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

Location: City of London

Daily Rate: £225 – £250

Randstad is urgently seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant for a 12-month contract with a leading global organisation in the tech and telecoms sector, currently experiencing rapid growth across the EMEA region.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative HR team, where you will play a pivotal part in managing complex employee relations issues, driving process improvements, and partnering effectively with legal and HR stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a variety of complex ER-related cases, including performance issues, grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Provide expert coaching and guidance to managers on ER best practices and employment law compliance.
  • Handle and track cases efficiently through a ticketing system (e.g., Freshdesk or similar).
  • Ensure strict compliance with local labour laws, particularly across the UK, Germany, France, and the UAE.
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and compliant employee experience.
  • Respond promptly to ER queries, conducting thorough investigations where necessary.
  • Advise on performance improvement plans, policy interpretation, and other ER-related matters.

About You:

  • Extensive proven experience as an Employee Relations Consultant or Manager, with a strong focus on the EMEA region.
  • Confidence in independently managing a diverse caseload of ER issues.
  • Proficiency with Freshdesk or a similar HR ticketing system.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and awareness of local labour laws and legal compliance across EMEA, with specific experience in the UK, Germany, France, and the UAE being highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Prior experience in the tech or telecoms industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Workday ATS is an advantage.
