Job Description
Our thriving client based in Enfield is recruiting for a Term-Time Driver/Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stability and a great work-life balance, as the role operates strictly during school term-time. You’ll be working Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm, with all school holidays off. The full time salary for this role is £30,000 and the pro rata salary based on 42 working weeks per year is around £24,500.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out deliveries in a timely, professional, and safe manner
- Driving approximately 3-4 hours per day, primarily in North London, but may include routes across the M25 area and occasionally into the Home Counties
- Operating a long wheelbase Sprinter van or similar vehicle
- Loading and unloading goods from the vehicle and within the warehouse
- Picking and packing items for dispatch
- Receiving deliveries and checking goods against delivery notes
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and well organised
- Assisting with stock control, including stock counts and rotation
- Reporting any delivery or stock discrepancies promptly
- Communicating effectively with the wider team to ensure smooth logistics and operations
- Always adhering to all health & safety procedures
