Are you passionate about transforming emotional wellbeing through digital innovation? Holland & Barrett is looking for a clinically qualified and digitally savvy Emotional Wellbeing Leadon a 12 months fixed term contract to drive the mental health strategy within H&B&Me, our pioneering lifestyle health intervention app. In this role, you'll shape evidence-based wellbeing content, integrate behaviour change science, and work alongside AI experts to personalise and scale impactful digital support.
This is a unique opportunity to lead at the intersection of clinical care, behavioural science, and tech-enabled wellness.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and delivery of evidence-based mental and emotional wellbeing programmes within the digital app.
- Integrate behaviour change theory and AI to build scalable, personalised interventions.
- Translate therapies (e.g. CBT, ACT, mindfulness) into motivating digital formats like in-app journeys and challenges.
- Develop clinical governance frameworks to ensure safety, efficacy, and compliance in emotional wellbeing content.
- Collaborate with product, data, and behavioural teams to shape user experience and app features.
- Analyse data and feedback to optimise content and improve user health outcomes.
- Represent emotional wellbeing in cross-functional teams and external partnerships.
Location:
This is a hybrid role based in London, with the requirement to be in the office at least two days per week.
The Person:
Key Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist or Psychiatry-qualified Medical Advisor (minimum 5 years post-qualification).
- Deep knowledge of evidence-based therapies and behaviour change science (e.g. COM-B).
- Proven experience in digital health programme development.
- Confident working in cross-functional settings, including product and AI teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about driving positive health outcomes through innovation.
