The Role

Making Space is a national charity driven by strong values and a clear mission: to make a lasting difference in people’s lives. We’re now looking for a Recruitment Assistant to join our People Services team at our Head Office in Warrington.
In this role, you'll provide vital administrative support to the recruitment team. This is a full-time, hybrid role with the opportunity to work remotely majority of the time, permanent position (37.5 hours per week).
You’ll work both independently and as part of a supportive team, helping to deliver a smooth recruitment process for candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Advertise vacancies and manage applications through our ATS system
- Process DBS checks, references, and pre-employment paperwork
- Prepare and send offer packs and contracts
- Maintain accurate records on equality, diversity, and right to work information
- Be a key point of contact for recruitment queries and support
- Look for opportunities to improve recruitment admin processes

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a Level 2 Diploma (or equivalent) in Business Administration
- Has experience in admin or office-based roles
- Is confident using IT systems and managing multiple priorities
- Can communicate professionally and work with minimal supervision
- Shares our values and is eager to develop their skills
