We are looking for a strategic, people-first leader to partner directly with our most senior executives and lead a high-impact team of People Partners across the UK, Europe, the Americas, and Asia. You’ll support all areas of the business globally, acting as a trusted advisor to leadership while ensuring we scale with intention and integrity.

This is a high-visibility role with real influence. Reporting to our Chief People Officer, you’ll be the voice of People at the leadership table; you’ll solve complex challenges with smart, pragmatic solutions; you’ll help shape the culture and experience of a truly global team; and you’ll have some fun along the way 🙂

About the Role

  • Act as the trusted business partner and advisor to our CTO, CRO and CFO and their leadership teams, and cultural ambassador and role model to the wider leadership and management population
  • Work with leadership, and other People team colleagues, to deliver effective solutions in areas such as organisational design, workforce planning, performance management, talent identification and employee engagement, focusing on the so what for the business throughout
  • Manage, develop and inspire a team of internationally located Business Partners, helping them identify and deliver on the highest priority business problems in their regions; acting as an escalation point to resolve the most complex issues when needed; and ensuring the team is trusted as a confidante and advisor to all at ComplyAdvantage
  • As part of the People Team Senior group, co-own the delivery of the People plan, leading on projects and initiatives that may be cross team or cross functional in nature
  • Contribute to the development of our cyclical People processes and other BAU activities making them smoother, automated and more responsive whilst ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant legislation. Ensure the effective delivery of cyclical People processes as required
  • Analyse and interpret workforce metrics with a natural focus on continuous process or organisational improvement
  • Work with the central recruitment teams and Finance to ensure that hiring plans are fulfilled and roles are appropriately staffed

About You

You’ll likely have:-

  • Extensive experience in senior People Business Partner roles; partnering directly with senior leaders; acting as their trusted advisor; and supporting them in managing and developing their organisations
  • Strong working knowledge of UK labor law and familiarity with other regions
  • Experience in fast-paced, tech scale-ups. Bonus points if some of that’s in B2B
  • Proven experience managing and developing multi-regional teams
  • The ability to translate company strategy into People strategy and projects, and know how to prioritise these effectively for your team
  • Experience leading and supporting change
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal direction
  • Experience using data, best practice and external sources such as your own network to identify and drive improvements
  • A solid understanding of other People functions (talent, compensation, etc.), how they operate and how they contribute to our overall success
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, which you can adapt to all levels of the business
