Our Client is building on of the leading Infrastructure projects in Europe and the complexity makes it really interesting. This role is a Technical Assurance Manager and the purpose is ensuring that there is correct and consistent application of the technical assurance processes across one or more Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) and/or group of contracts. Supporting the application and review of the technical assurance regime, setting of processes and reporting on compliance from delivery perspective. This is not a Quality Manager, this requires the following skills, knowledge and experience: * Authoring and review of technical documentation * Delivery of educational briefings/presentations * Competent in digital data and information analysis and trend reporting * Quantitatively and qualitatively assess the performance of delivery organisations against of chain against objective requirements * Knowledge of problem solving and integration using systems engineering thinking within the infrastructural sector. * Knowledge with the principles of change and configuration management. * Understanding of the roles and responsibilities under CDM Regulations 2015, and have knowledge of the European Common Safety Methods guidance * Knowledge of working within an NEC3 contract environment * Knowledge of the principles of quality management e.g. ISO 9001 * Experience of managing and implementing quality and assurance principles, systems and frameworks on large scale infrastructure projects. * Experience within a technical background with the experience of liaising with contractors and designers. * Experience of multi-discipline programmes incl. civils, M&E, architecture, rail systems, rolling stock This role requires considerable negotiation, collaboration and influencing skills with analysis of data and developing matrices to create the best compelling cases. This is an excellent long term role with great benefits and career progression. The role is client side managing contractors who self assure themselves and this role is ensuring the compliance of this. This role is based either from London or Birmingham 2 days a week.
