We are currently searching for an experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager with a proven track record in project governance, IT Infrastructure and Network Projects and Network Delivery experience. This is a hybrid position based in Dunstable, with the need to be in the office up to 2 days a week. What you’ll be doing: Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Regularly report on project progress to senior management, highlighting risks and mitigation plans. Ensure all project activities comply with internal and external regulations, particularly in relation to data security and network standards. Lead a full discovery phase in Germany, working with technical SMEs to assess current infrastructure and define a migration strategy. Collaborate with local and UK-based teams to implement a new network design leveraging the UK points of presence. Oversee the migration of outlets in Germany from the existing Meraki network (tied to Fujitsu) to the new Aruba infrastructure. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution across borders. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely completion. Risk Management: Proactively identify risks related to the migration process, project scope, and vendor coordination. Oversee the testing of the new network infrastructure, ensuring all systems are fully operational before deployment. Coordinate the validation of network performance in both UK and German locations. What you’ll bring: Strong history of project management experience in IT or network infrastructure, with a strong focus on governance and compliance. Proven experience managing multi-country, cross-functional projects, preferably in the hospitality or telecommunications industries. Previous experience with network technologies such as Aruba, Meraki, or similar. Strong understanding of network infrastructure and the technical aspects of deployment, even if not a deep SME. Familiarity with network service providers such as Deutsche Telekom and BT. Strong experience in risk management and problem resolution. Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable.
