LB Design Recruitment are working with a long established RIBA Chartered practice that has a strong reputation for exciting, high-quality design solutions in both contemporary and traditional architectural styles. They currently have a variety of clients in London, Southampton, Winchester, Hampshire and surrounding areas. They work across a diverse range of sectors and project types, including bespoke residential dwellings for private clients, large residential schemes for developer clients, educational facilities, commercial developments and civic developments. The practice also has an award-winning reputation in the building conservation sector and has worked on projects within the historic environment of all sizes, type and complexity to both the public and private sectors. Notable projects include those for Historic Royal Palaces, English Heritage, The National Trusts, local authorities, country estates, trusts and charities. They are looking to recruit a Conservation Architect or Architectural Assistant to complement their team. You will need to have proven experience of working on UK based projects within the conservation sector, for example restoration of Grade 1 listed buildings/monuments, historic royal palaces, museums, English Heritage, National Trust, castles, churches etc. They will consider all levels of Architects including Part I, Part II or Part III. The successful candidate will be mentored by highly experienced Senior Conservation Architects and will be offered the opportunity to grow within the practice. This is a full-time office based role in a medium sized practice in Winchester. Salary will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
