The Vacancy
Our Third Party Administration (TPA) department is a dynamic administration team with a varied portfolio of clients. They play a key part in providing our clients and members with a market-leading service on Defined Benefits (DB), Defined Contribution (DC) and CARE pension arrangements.
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join this department as a Pensions Project Administrator, within our Data Journey team in our Edinburgh or Glasgow Office.
What will your role look like?
Working as part of the TPA Data Journey Projects Team nationally to support the delivery and implementation of pensions administration data enhancement projects to our clients. Projects could include preparing schemes ready for Dashboard connection, data cleanse required for buy in projects and GMP equalisation.
Though this is a varied role, your key tasks will include:
- Under guidance from a more senior colleague, undertakes pensions-data cleanse and improving electronic data held in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assists with the production of end of pensions project closure reports, as and when required.
- Works closely with all teams to ensure work on pensions projects progresses seamlessly to completion.
- Running of pensions-data extracts, analysis of the data, and production of letters/reports for review by team members.
- Ensures office procedures are followed, including keeping full notes of all telephone conversations and following compliance requirements.
- Undertakes ad-hoc associated general administration duties, including mailing exercises and helpline duties.
To enjoy and succeed in this role, you will have:
- Minimum GCSE / Scottish standard Maths and English, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of DB pensions and previous pensions project experience.
- Previous experience working in an administrative environment.
- Experience of collecting and inputting data/information.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft applications – Word Outlook and strong excel knowledge, including experience of vlookup and pivot tables
