Quality and Process Improvement Manager – Global Organisation – King’s Lynn Office – £45k-£60k (dependent on experience)
Our client, a global company with offices in King’s Lynn, who is a trailblazer in their field of expertise, is looking for a Quality and Process Improvement Manager to join their management team.
This is a key role within a busy and fast-paced organisation that requires an inquisitive, strategic, proactive and collaborative leader. As the Quality and Process Improvement Manager, you will manage an established team of 5 professionals, across 2 locations, who don’t need handholding but would benefit from a ‘hands-on’ problem-solver with a thirst for compliance, quality and improvement processes.
We are looking for someone with solid knowledge and experience of QA systems, processes and procedures ideally gained in a manufacturing industry, preferably within the FMCG market, although this isn’t a prerequisite.
Key responsibilities as the Quality and Process Improvement Manager will include:
- Leading a team of 5 professionals who monitor and assess the quality standards of manufactured materials and products, handle customer complaints and ensure compliance to regulatory standards
- Fostering a collaborative culture of quality and continuous improvement
- Validating systems and practices
- Identifying areas for process improvements and ensuring continuous improvement activities and training are effective in achieving the company’s goals and objectives
- Managing cross-party collaboration between departments to manage all quality and process challenges, issues and projects
- Ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements as needed
- Oversee root cause investigations and corrective actions for quality management issues
- Ensuring all detailed records and documentation are maintained as required

What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in similar Quality and Process Improvement roles
- Experience gained in a manufacturing industry is highly beneficial, preferably within the FMCG market
- Solid knowledge and experience of QA systems, processes and procedures
- Lean Six Sigma qualification (or similar) is highly advantageous
- Hands-on team leader/manager
- Skilled in conducting audits of both manufacturing practices and business systems
- Sound knowledge of H&S, quality, environmental & ethical requirements and best business practices
- Highly organised
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
- A thorough and meticulous nature with an eye for accuracy
- Proactive problem solver with an inquisitive nature and thirst for compliance
- Driving licence/access to vehicle due to company’s location
- Ability to travel between sites approximately 1-2 per quarter
