Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Sector Manager for Information Security, Privacy & Artificial Intelligence to join our Compliance division. This is a remote-based role with national travel and offers an exciting opportunity to provide technical oversight and thought leadership across a dynamic portfolio of information security certification schemes.
What that means day to day
- Ensuring the technical integrity and compliance of information security, privacy, AI, and related certification schemes (ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 22301, ISO 20000).
- Providing expert guidance and interpretation of standards to auditors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting auditor training, qualifications, and calibration for high-quality audit delivery.
- Monitoring and responding to evolving standards, accreditation criteria (ISO/IEC 17021-1, ISO/IEC 27006, etc.), and industry best practices.
- Participating in technical committees, industry forums, and representing ISOQAR in UKAS liaison.
- Driving the development of new certification offerings in the InfoSec and AI space.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Practical experience working with or within a UKAS-accredited certification body
- Approved Lead Auditor status for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27701, ISO/IEC 42001
- Strong knowledge of accreditation standards and certification scheme requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and technical writing skills
Desirable but not essential:
- Lead Auditor qualifications for ISO 22301, ISO 20000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001
- Qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM or GDPR Practitioner
- Experience with digital trust regulations and cybersecurity governance
You must be comfortable with UK-wide travel, possess a full UK driving license, and enjoy working independently while collaborating cross-functionally
