Job Description:

Our Treasury Client Solutions Department provides IFC’s clients with innovative fixed-income solutions, including derivative transactions, structured products, local currency solutions, and debt capital markets solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated finance professional to join our EMEA team, covering markets in Africa, Middle East, Europe, and Central Asia. The role involves structuring and executing fixed-income investment projects, market analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. The position is based in London, UK.
Responsibilities:
- Structure, price, and execute hedging and funding transactions using derivatives and capital markets instruments.
- Support IFC’s local currency bond issuances with analytical and transactional expertise.
- Develop and apply sophisticated financial models for transaction structuring and pricing.
- Conduct market research and analyze rating agency methodologies to inform risk assessment.
- Assist in business development and marketing of treasury products.
- Build relationships with investment banks, local banks, investors, and regulators.
- Prepare analytics for investment committees and support documentation review, portfolio monitoring, and valuation.
- Travel globally as needed for transactions and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, financial engineering, mathematics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of fixed income derivatives (cross currency swaps, interest rate swaps).
- Strong data analysis and credit risk modeling skills, advanced Excel proficiency.
- Ability to multitask, pay attention to detail, and work under tight deadlines.
- Motivated team player with a positive attitude and collaborative spirit.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work across different time zones.
