Job Description:
ADAS provides ecology, arboriculture, archaeology, planning, and landscape services to a growing base of clients working across multiple sectors.
Experience required:
- A full driving licence will be required, along with flexibility regarding work type, timing, and location.
- Formal qualification in Town and Country Planning (Masters/Postgraduate/First Degree).
- Full membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute or eligibility for full Chartered Membership.
- Relevant experience/skills, preferably within the private sector.
- Excellent knowledge of Town & Country Planning regulations and processes in both planning policy and development management.
Requirements:
- Provide planning consultancy services to public, private, and third-sector clients.
- Manage planning projects to high standards, including leading on planning applications, site promotions, appeals, and managing financial aspects like invoicing, budgets, and contracts.
- Review and comment on technical reports.
- Prepare planning applications, draft Planning Statements, and undertake site visits with clients and colleagues.
- Communicate with technical consultants, statutory consultees, and Planning Officers.
- Participate in public speaking at planning committees and consultation events as needed.
