Job Description
- You’ll lead ,support, motivate, train, and develop the Logistics Operational colleagues in your team to ensure our Logistics Operational objectives are met.
- You’ll accurately log colleagues’ time and attendance and you’ll ensure all colleagues’ absence is managed in line with N Brown policy.
- You’ll make sure that delivery of all Health & Safety (including all current COVID) measures and housekeeping requirements are maintained and you’ll ensure there is a safe and clean environment for all colleagues and visitors on the Logistics sites.
- You’ll work to achieve production and compliance targets and SLA’s whilst making sure that we are using the most cost effective use of resources and services. You’ll also respond to adjustments in production plans and assign resources where needed.
- You’ll deliver the departmental budgets through effective manpower, planning and performance management.
- You’ll review performance and quality for your area of responsibility and provide weekly cost analysis.
- You’ll also review and respond to directions to investigate trends in MI.
- You’ll be flexible with start/finish times of shift in order to plan the day and provide accurate details for handovers for colleagues and be open to support business needs with flexibility of overtime when required.
- You’ll be multiskilled at managing several departments outside of your main department.
- You’ll identify process improvements and support implementation through the use of lean six sigma methodology to ensure the logistics operation is efficient and flexible to meet our customer demands.
